Why did you start the traineeship?
I started as I wanted to get into a job role that has solid progression opportunities as my current role didn’t provide any.
What did you enjoy most?
The best part of the traineeship in my opinion was the practical learning where I could use the virtual machines to navigate around operating systems and complete tasks.
What's your current role like?
I currently work as first-line IT support for a private care company. I assist carers with their device issues, manage laptop and tablet stock and set up accounts for new starters. I’ve had a great time so far and I am learning new things every day.
