Why did you start the Cyber Security Traineeship?

I started the Traineeship to build a solid foundation in IT and to gain knowledge and technical skills to work towards my CompTIA A+ certification.

What did you enjoy most?

What I enjoyed most was the hands-on experience and the variety of tasks I was exposed to. Being able to work with real systems, troubleshoot issues, and to grow both my technical skills and confidence.

What's your current role like?

In my current role as an IT Technician, I’m responsible for supporting users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and assisting with deployments and system configurations. The role is fast-paced and problem-solving focused, which I enjoy. It’s given me the chance to continue building on what I learned during the Traineeship while taking on more responsibility and working more independently.
