Why did you start the Cyber Security Traineeship?

I started the Traineeship as I'd been out of work for five years, and didn't really have any prospects, so I was especially drawn to the support that IT Career Switch offers in job-hunting after completing the certification.

What did you enjoy most?

In terms of enjoyment, the practice labs were good. It was nice to be able to put some of the learning into practice. The system you used for mock exams was also good - it made me really confident going into the certification exams.

What's your current role like?

For my new role with Sage, I'm having a great time. We're still in training, but due to hit the phones and actually speak to customers in three weeks, but everybody is really friendly and we're really well supported. It's the best workplace I've ever had. I'm not using all of the knowledge that I gained from the A+ cert, but the skills are transferable, and I feel that it's put me in a strong position to succeed.
