Why did you start the Cyber Security Traineeship?

I’ve started the Traineeship around the end of May 2023 and thoroughly enjoyed it. Just like most IT Career Switch students, I was looking to start a new career in IT.

What did you enjoy most?

I appreciated the video format and the freedom the instructors had when presenting, giving the course a very relaxed feeling, even when discussing more complicated topics. It also allowed me to study at my own pace and chosen time frame, rather than locking me into pre-set shifts.

What's your current role like?

My current role as an IT Support Analyst involves assisting customers with a small selection of in-house software as well as occasional hardware help, such as laptops, cable work, and machine set up.
