Why did you start the Cyber Security Traineeship?

I started the Cyber Security Traineeship with IT Career Switch because I had a passion for cyber security as it protects systems from unauthorised action, similar to my physical security job as a security guard/dog handler. With this mentality rooted, I thought it would be a great opportunity to improve my technical skillset in the digital world.

What did you enjoy most?

I enjoyed taking mock exams under real time conditions as this is what helped me most and got me used to the real exam’s conditions, and the Live Labs were fun as I got to put my technical knowledge into practice.

What's your current role like?

I’m loving my new role, everyday I’m learning something new by solving different problems. The training period was intense in the beginning, but I’m slowly easing into the pace of the role now.
