Angus Andrews moved into IT Operations Analyst

I started the Traineeship because national security is something that interests me, and I believe digital security is a huge part of this in the modern world, so I decided that I wanted to upskill myself and look at a total career change from what I had done previously.

The thing I enjoy most about the Traineeship is learning in depth about how aspects of IT that are used every day work on a technical level.

My current role is a service desk position assisting company staff. It is a varied role, and typically, I will be responding to tickets either via the phone, through the self-service portal or via a Teams channel, and there are plenty of opportunities to learn from other teams.
