I came across IT Career Switch while researching online, and compared to other courses, this one really stood out because it’s also a recruitment agency. Ultimately, I was doing the course to get a job, so this felt like a win-win. They know the job market and what employers are actually looking for. Other courses I looked at were more expensive and mainly focused on the course learning side, leaving you to find a job on your own. This course is great value for money, and I would honestly recommend it to anyone considering a career change into IT.

The best part of the Traineeship was definitely the support after passing my exam. I was paired with a recruitment mentor, Jasmine, who was honestly incredible. She really listened to what I wanted but was also realistic about what was achievable. They helped improve my CV, sent me jobs to apply for weekly, and checked in with calls every couple of weeks to see how my job search was going. They also provided great cover letter templates and interview preparation videos and materials, which I think made a huge difference.

My current role is an IT support role for a company that manages NHS systems. It’s been great to actually see and work with the things I learned in the CompTIA A+ exams in a real-life environment. I’m really enjoying putting my skills into practice, and it’s also made me realise how much more there is to learn, which is exciting.
