Why did you start the traineeship?

I started the traineeship because I had always had a passion for IT and really wanted a way into the industry. After some research, I believed IT Career Switch was the perfect opportunity for me to get into the career I love.

What did you enjoy most?

My favourite part about the traineeship was the wide range of knowledge I got from it. Rather than most courses offering information on specific skill sets, IT Career Switch ensures they touch base with all you will need to get into the IT Sector, all with a tutor who can guide you throughout the traineeship.

What's your current role like?

My current role is as a Service Desk Analyst. Within the role, I get exposed to a wide variety of different problems, which I troubleshoot and resolve. On top of this, I get to go to the site and work on some of the networks in person. I found that the knowledge I got from the traineeship truly helped me excel throughout the training in my new role and I’m excited to see what’s next for me.
