Samuel Rhodes's journey
Why did you start the traineeship?
I was always interested in both science and IT. I went to university and studied Forensic Science and after struggling to get into the field, I eventually reevaluated my life choices and decided to start the traineeship.
What did you enjoy most?
I really enjoyed the variety of content included in the traineeship, and the different teaching styles by the tutors. I had an understanding of IT systems and it was really good to put that into practice. I particularly enjoyed the Network+ course.
What's your current role like?
I have only recently started in my role, but essentially I work in a support role assisting clients with their devices, including updating cases and arranging loan stock among other tasks. I am enjoying the role so far, and feel that obtaining the A+ certification has been and will be beneficial to my role.
