Why did you start the Coding Traineeship?

After working as an IT Recruitment Consultant for many years, software development had always piqued my interest. However, it never felt like an achievable career option, especially as I do not have a degree. After a lot of research, I found the IT Career Switch. Their Coding Traineeship provided me with great resources to progress my long-term goal of becoming a Software Developer.

What did you enjoy most?

My favourite part of the Coding Traineeship was the practical portfolio projects that you get to develop. They are a great challenge and really get you using your problem-solving skills. They also take into account real-life software development concepts, which are extremely valuable.

What's your current role like?

My current role is absolutely fantastic. I have the opportunity to work across an array of software products and projects, which have been developed using a variety of technologies, so I am continuously learning and developing my skills. The team incredibly supports and the projects have a positive impact on the users, which is very satisfying.
