Why did you start the traineeship?
I have completed my graduation in IT nearly 6 years ago, but couldn’t start my career in IT due to work restrictions. Once the restriction was over, I was finding it difficult to get back to in IT, because of year gaps. Then I decided to do certifications, and during my search online, I found IT carer switch is the best, based on all reviews.
What did you enjoy most?
I love the course structure, I know there are many extra syllabus according to the IT technician role, but I believe the course is designed for next-level like Cyber security or Network engineer, where it would be much easier to study and work. I also enjoy the live Lab, it’s so helpful to do practice and gain confident.
What's your current role like?
I am a Network Technician at a secondary School (St Alban Girls School). It’s so great to utilize my skills and knowledge and accrue confidence every single day. The current role is day to day maintaining the school network and helping to provide IT solutions to teachers, staff and students.
