Why did you start the traineeship?
After I got made redundant from a previous sales role, I thought to myself, “what would I enjoy doing”? I’ve always been into IT and computers. I researched and thought Cyber Security would be a great career choice for me. I then signed up for the Premium+ Cyber Security Traineeship and have really enjoyed learning all about this world!
What did you enjoy most?
I loved all the courses as they were interesting and relevant to what I was doing. It was great learning about things that matter and are useful for my role.
What's your current role like?
Now, as a Service Desk Engineer, I assist with IT tickets and problems users are facing. So far, that’s included password resets, setting up new devices for new starters, drive mapping, and tons more. It’s really enjoyable as I feel I’m assisting people and solving the problems one at a time.
