Why did you start the traineeship?
I started the traineeship because I knew I wanted to pursue a career in IT but didn’t know where to start. The course provided a solid structure to follow and allowed me to complete the courses at a pace I could choose.
What did you enjoy most?
So far the most enjoyable part for me has been the Linux+ course as I’ve always wanted to learn Linux. However, my most enjoyable part of the first phase was CCNA and learning all the networking nuances.
What's your current role like?
My current role is pleasantly diverse. The team I work in is well managed so once a week I take on my share of the tickets. It allows me to take my tickets on through the rest of the week at my own pace. Every day brings a new challenge and I’m enjoying finally being in the IT industry.
