Why did you start the traineeship?
I was in a retail leadership role and had been for about 15 years, I was good at what I did but found there was a lack of challenge, I was bored and didn’t see myself retiring in a role like this. I came across an advertisement for it career switch and thought it looked interesting, so I did a bit of research, spoke to the friendly people at the company and here I am.
What did you enjoy most?
The learning was very extensive but very interesting, especially for someone who had no previous experience. I very much enjoyed the live labs and the mock tests so I could test everything I had learnt and refresh on the things I’d forgotten.
What's your current role like?
I’ve been in my new role for about 5 weeks and loving it. The course really put me in a good place and it’s fast paced and really varied. I also work with some great people.
