Why did you start the traineeship?
After spending three years studying policing in college, I realized that, despite my passion for it, it wasn’t the right career path for me. I began to feel lost, unsure of what to pursue next, and stressed about the thought of starting college over or not being able to get into university. That’s when I discovered IT Career Switch. It gave me the opportunity to start fresh and build a career in tech.
What did you enjoy most?
The flexibility of the traineeship was what I loved most. I could sit in a café, enjoy a coffee, and complete my lessons on my own schedule. It allowed me to learn at my own pace while maintaining a good work-life balance.
What's your current role like?
My current role is incredible—enjoyable, educational, and relaxed. It’s a stress-free environment with friendly colleagues who make me feel at home. The workplace is healthy and supportive, offering great benefits. I enjoy it so much that I plan to stay with them even after earning my CYSA+ certification.
