Lloyd Wheeler moved into Junior Security Consultant – RMG

I started the traineeship because I wanted a career. My current role in sales and account management was not a career that I wanted nor could I see the longevity or progression within it. I wanted a job that was based around technical skills and Cyber Security was the obvious choice.

I loved the fact that there was always support available whenever you needed it. My personal tutor was only ever a message away and the number of resources they had to help me, as well as just tips and hints about how to get the most from the course, was amazing. Without my tutor’s help, I don’t think I would have got the same level of satisfaction from the courses.

My role at the moment is a Junior Security Consultant role which is focussed on multiple different areas of cyber security from risk analysis and threat analysis to ISO audits for multinational businesses. It gives me flexibility through home working but also allows me to travel to clients premises whenever I can so still retains the customer interaction that I enjoyed so much in my last role.
