Why did you start the traineeship?

I was always interested in technology, but without the relevant degree it was not easy to find a job within the IT area. The IT Career Switch Traineeship offered not only the training program, which would prepare me for an IT role, but also guaranteed a job on successful course completion.

What did you enjoy most?

Having a young child to look after, I benefited a lot from the flexibility with which I could study. I found all the courses to be very interesting and easy to understand. My personal favorite was the Comptia Network+.

What's your current role like?

My current role is a junior IT support engineer. This position allows me to apply and develop my newly gained knowledge and skills, and offers an opportunity to continue my education in the IT area.
