Why did you start the traineeship?
I started my Traineeship because I didn’t feel like I could progress any further in my previous career, and even if I did, it felt as though I didn’t have any transferable skills.
What did you enjoy most?
The Traineeship has given me the motivation and impetus I needed to gain the skills and knowledge that I needed to progress professionally. That has meant I can push my career and my life forward in a direction I feel I have so much more control over. I haven’t stopped learning since I started the course, and I don’t think I ever will.
What's your current role like?
While my current role is pretty junior, it does give me a lot of opportunities to learn new things and time to study in the downtime that working in a NOC/SOC environment often has. Everyone I work is very friendly and it is nice to work somewhere where everyone is just as eager to learn as I am.
