Why did you start the traineeship?
I started studying in the Cyber Security Traineeship after medical issues forced a career change away from working in the hospitality industry. The program offered unique demand learning and work opportunities to pursue.
What did you enjoy most?
I enjoyed the broad range of courses and knowledge that the traineeship provides. From the basics through to specialized and proprietary products that are in demand in the industry, I felt that I had solid knowledge foundations that I needed to present when the time came to go for interviews.
What's your current role like?
My current role is very exciting and involves supplying and troubleshooting remote connectivity options to clients all over the globe. Using products such as Starlink, K4 and Unifi we help people in remote locations stay in contact with their companies and families. Being involved in all the cutting-edge technology utilized and hearing the gratitude from helping clients in remote locations has been a hugely enjoyable journey.
