Why did you start the traineeship?
I started the Traineeship as a way to get myself out of my previous role that had become idle in terms of progress and development. I always had an interest in IT and wanted to try learn more outside of the basics I already knew.
What did you enjoy most?
I really enjoyed the Live Labs and the practical aspect of the Traineeship, being able to put to use the things I had learnt during the modules, and being able to explore other OS’s I wouldn’t have otherwise looked at.
What's your current role like?
My current role is better than I ever could have imagined. My new team are so welcoming and supportive, it’s like I’ve always been there. I fitted in so nicely and have scored at the top of our dashboard for the IT helpdesk for the month I have been there! I wouldn’t have been able to get this role without having completed my CompTIA A+ and for that I will be forever grateful.
