Why did you start the traineeship?
I started the Traineeship because I wanted to explore something new. IT is constantly growing and changing, being part of such an industry keeps you on your toes and is very rewarding. The Traineeship provided a foundation for me and allowed me to progress in IT in order to eventually pursue a career in cybersecurity.
What did you enjoy most?
What I enjoyed most was the live labs. The labs allow you to experience what it would be like when sitting in front of a desk, and help you understand and see key concepts in action.
What's your current role like?
My current role is a Support Engineer for a company called CBE Software. The role itself consists of supporting clients who use our software as well as hardware, and helping to troubleshoot any problems they are having.
