Why did you start the traineeship?
I always wanted to get into IT, but never knew how without any experience. I found IT Career Switch and loved the idea of being able to study and having the support of a tutor to help me along, and once everything was passed, it was amazing to have the help with recruitment.
What did you enjoy most?
I enjoyed studying for the exams the most. I really got to see my progress from when I first started, and it really showcased how in depth the courses provided to me by IT Career Switch were.
What's your current role like?
I’ve been working as an ICT Associate for 5 weeks now, and I’ve learned a lot. I am helping users with any IT issues and building phones for engineers to use. I still have a lot to learn, and I am particularly looking forward to learning how to build laptops and I feel my learning from the Traineeship will complement this well. I am so thankful for the help and support from IT Career Switch from starting the course to finding me a job at the end.
