Why did you start the Cyber Security Traineeship?

The career that I was in didn’t excite me and I felt that the opportunities were lacking for me. I found IT Career Switch online and after seeing how well reviewed they were I decided to have a go at getting on to a career path that I was passionate about.

What did you enjoy most?

For me it was proving to myself that I can be successful in this field. The support structure that is provided is incredibly helpful when you need it but at the end of the day passing the Traineeship requires hard work and self-discipline and taking the course allowed me to prove to myself that I have them.

What's your current role like?

Busy! But exactly what I was hoping at the same time. It’s a small tight knit group of engineers that are always willing to lend a hand when you are struggling with something. I feel so much more at home on this career path than the one that I was on.
