Why did you start the traineeship?
I began the traineeship due to being extremely unhappy with the role I was sitting in. I had been doing the role for multiple years and I had lost the drive to carry on. This is why I explored the option of taking on this opportunity to chase a new career that I actually had a passion in.
What did you enjoy most?
I really enjoyed the pure ease of the platform in which the modules were provided and the sheer amount of information incorporated into each one. There were various resources provided to certainly help take on the challenging exams at the end. With the help of all of the information, guidance and resources at hand, I was able to pass the first time.
What's your current role like?
I am currently sitting in a Data Centre Engineer role, which gives me an insight into data tape management and various server systems. This gives me hands-on experience which will guide me to future roles when I complete the next stage of my Cyber Security Analyst course.
