Daniel Millward moved into Service Desk Engineer

I had been working in retail operations for a long time and wanted to move into a growing industry that provided opportunity to progress. I’ve always had an interest in IT, and after researching, ITCareerSwitch seemed like a good opportunity to get my foot in the door.

The traineeship provided a robust curriculum that covered a wide range of basic IT concepts. I appreciated being able to move through the content at my own pace and work towards an industry recognised certification.

My current role is incredibly busy. Working in a company that provides managed IT services means learning a number of different systems and configurations as well as supporting a large amount of end users. However this gives the perfect opportunity to build upon the knowledge I gained in my traineeship.
