Why did you start the traineeship?

The main reason was that I didn’t want to stop learning. I have been learning to program self-taught for some time. I needed some motivation not to stop or slow down. The financial investment encouraged me to learn even more. However, the money-back guarantee was reassuring if I still didn’t reach a working level. I couldn’t lose anything except the free time I invested.

What did you enjoy most?

I got to know Codecademy, it’s a fantastically good portal for anyone who can or wants to learn from home. I got a lot more than I expected. This period was the best, I took advantage of the one-year period until the last minute. I can’t even list how much I learned during that time. This was followed by the creation of 2 projects with the help of IT Career Switch colleagues. I enjoyed every minute.

What's your current role like?

I got a job at a development company where I have to apply almost all my acquired knowledge and constantly learn new things. That’s exactly what I wanted: to Program and learn new things. And I even get paid for all that.
