Why did you start the traineeship?

I’ve always had a love and interest in technology and IT in general. However, I always thought it was daunting and scary to get into and that you need a university degree. However, I found the Cyber Security Traineeship course and looked it over and it was exactly what I needed to break into IT.

What did you enjoy most?

The courses were well laid out and structured. There wasn’t a huge rush to complete them so I could study while working also which was amazing. However, the best part was the support from both my Tutor Leigh and Recruitment Specialist Ann. Both went above and beyond to help me complete my training, prepare for a job role and secure a place.

What's your current role like?

I love my current role as no one day is the same. Working as part of a relatively small team I get to do a wide range of things from helping our clients with any issues they may have, service and manage website servers and much more! A truly amazing place that I would never think I would have a chance at having.
