Why did you start the traineeship?

I started the traineeship because, despite being capable of teaching myself, I knew I needed a set path of learning and access to the real life experience of professionals to turn that knowledge into a career.

What did you enjoy most?

I particularly liked the flexibility and structure of the course and the way the portfolio projects were set. Being able to speak to my portfolio advisor, Paddy, provided the insight I needed to focus on the most important aspects of my work.

What's your current role like?

My current role has far exceeded my expectations, I work in business intelligence for an insurance company as a full-stack developer with analytic and networking aspects. My team is great, the prospects are great, and the work is very challenging but rewarding.
