Why did you start the traineeship?
I wanted a job in the IT industry but didn’t have the experience necessary. After coming across IT Career Switch and their job guarantee, I thought it would be the best way to get a job and gain technical knowledge. I always had a passion in solving tech-related issues and wanted to prove to myself that I could do it.
What did you enjoy most?
I enjoyed the fact that I could choose my own pace of learning, as well as the structure of the course. I also enjoyed the practice labs very much as they gave me good practical experience. Furthermore, having a tutor to help with any questions I had was very beneficial.
What's your current role like?
It’s great so far. In my current role, I’m able to help people with their everyday technical problems which I find very satisfying. Everything I learnt during the Traineeship comes in handy and I’m developing my IT knowledge at the same time. I’m looking forward to where this role takes me.
