Why did you start the IT Technician Traineeship?

My aim was to switch my career to IT, and by participating in the IT technician traineeship, I gained valuable experience and knowledge that helped me pursue a career in IT. The program aims to provide trainees with hands-on experience and practical skills in the IT field, including troubleshooting, hardware and software installation, network maintenance, and more.

What did you enjoy most?

1. Hands-on experience: Trainees get to work with a lab, which provides me with valuable hands-on experience. 2. Career advancement: The IT technician traineeship can help trainees advance their careers in IT by providing them with valuable experience and industry-recognized certifications. Overall, the IT technician traineeship can provide trainees with a challenging and rewarding learning experience that can help them develop new skills and advance their careers in IT.

What's your current role like?

My current role is IT systems support Analyst. Diagnosing the source of colleagues’ IT problems. Advising them on possible solutions.Effective identification & support of the incidents, including stakeholder management & appropriate reports. Using Active Directory, Azure Endpoint and service connect to support users. Working with incident management – using the tool ServiceNow.
