Alexis Clarke moved into IT Support Technician

I wanted to start a new career in something I thought I’d excel at and grow. I decided the lockdown was a good opportunity to start training and, having followed the progress of a Youtuber that had recently switched to IT, wanted to commit to a new career in networking.

I liked that the trainers often provided real-life examples of their own experience in various roles and how they applied the theory of the course to problems they encountered and solved.

I am often on the phone helping retail stores around the country troubleshoot IT problems. It can be challenging at times, but also very rewarding when you solve the problem.
