Why did you start the traineeship?
I decided I was at a point in my life that I needed to change my career into a better suited long term role. I chose to change my career quite a few months before signing up with IT Career Switch, after doing research on different training providers and came to the conclusion that IT Career Switch had the best options.
What did you enjoy most?
It allowed me to study in my own time, around family life and around existing employment. If you study at college or Uni, you don’t have these options.
What's your current role like?
1st Line Support Engineer within a very fast-growing company. I’m enjoying it and learning a lot. Coming from a completely different work background is challenging, but my colleagues are great and very understanding.
