Why did you start the traineeship?

I finished university and was quickly disillusioned as I found it almost impossible to find work in my field of study. I turned back to a lifelong interest in IT and decided to pursue it professionally.

What did you enjoy most?

I highly enjoyed the ability to work independently and set your own hours. I was able to make steady progress at my own pace, both when I was furloughed, as well as when I was working full time.

What's your current role like?

My current role is challenging but full of opportunities to learn every day. The wide range of knowledge and experience I gained through IT Career Switch is allowing me to wear many hats and impress my coworkers with my breath of knowledge despite being a newbie.
