Why did you start the traineeship?
I was relocated to the UK in February 2021. I was not even shortlisted anywhere when I applied for jobs. Then I decided to pursue my carrier with IT Career Switch because of the job guarantee.
What did you enjoy most?
It took only three months to complete part one. Few of the courses were retired from the Microsoft certifications but they are very useful when you start working. The syllabus is simple and concise, designed in such a way that it is helpful even for beginners. The online lectures, practical online sessions and online exams were as excellent as face to face teaching and was really helpful during this pandemic. I have always been fascinated by the tutor Leigh. Who was always approachable and supportive throughout the course.
What's your current role like?
Currently, I am working as an IT analyst in GSK, providing first-line support for the stakeholders which is very exciting.
