Why did you start the traineeship?
I reached a juncture in my previous career where I no longer perceived a viable future. The decision I made at 18 to pursue a teaching career no longer aligned with my current aspirations, goals, and interests.
What did you enjoy most?
I found great satisfaction in the program’s flexibility, offering a distance-learning approach with asynchronous components. This arrangement allowed me to tailor my learning experience to my schedule and preferences.
What's your current role like?
I currently serve as a Junior Software Developer, focusing primarily on WordPress, JavaScript, and SCSS. Each day presents new learning opportunities, and I am fortunate to be part of an exceptional team of colleagues always ready to assist. While the training with IT Career Switch laid a strong foundation, the practical application of my skills within a company setting has exponentially enhanced my learning experience and deepened my appreciation for coding.
