Why did you start the traineeship?

I did the Traineeship because I wanted to start a new career path. Working in the hospitality industry was not my ambition, I wasn’t happy as I should have been. My life was miserable and it was affecting also my relationship with family and friends. I needed a drastic change.

What did you enjoy most?

The Traineeship is well structured and focuses on exam preparation. I really enjoy the learning path as well as the support that the IT career switch team provide. The material is very clear and helpful. The sessions are interesting and interactive. In the end, after I obtain the certification, the IT career switch employability team support me in any possible way. They helped with the curriculum and cover letter, provide me with hundreds of job applications and support me all the way through the employment process.

What's your current role like?

My current role is exactly what I was looking for. I am becoming a payroll project coordinator for a big international firm. They are investing in my development and I can see a great future with them.
