Tom Williams moved into 1st Line Support Specialist

I started this Traineeship because I was looking for a career switch into IT, but I wasn't 100% sure what to do or how to achieve it. After doing my research, I found IT Career Switch, and the company came highly recommended in terms of the reviews and success stories that I had seen.

Once I had been given the different brochures for the courses and understood what there was to offer, it felt like a no-brainer to go ahead and sign up. The structure and qualifications that the course offered were too good to turn down in an already saturated market when it comes to deciding what to do when starting a career in IT.

The thing I enjoyed most about the Traineeship is the plan that it offered and the different checkpoints that you have to reach in order to take the next step in your training. With that pathway in place, it really helped me understand what I needed to work towards and also measure what I had learned in my studying.

My current role is focused on providing IT support for multiple clients and working with a wide range of digital components and software. Every day is different and offers something new to learn in the world of IT and Telecommunications. I have no doubt that I wouldn't have been able to get the role that I am in now without the qualifications I had gained from my IT Career Switch Traineeship, and that's why I couldn't recommend it enough.
