Tigan Le Morvan's journey

Why did you start the traineeship?

Coming from an events background, I was looking to move into a more structured and long-term career path. Project management had always appealed to me, and I wanted to make the transition into a more technical industry. The Traineeship provided a clear and supportive route to gain the skills and certifications I needed to break into the field.

What did you enjoy most?

I really appreciated how well-organised and practical the program was. It gave me the flexibility to learn at my own pace while still feeling supported throughout. The career support team were fantastic, especially when it came to preparing for interviews and adapting my CV for project management roles.

What's your current role like?

I’ve recently started as an Assistant Project Manager at a defence company. It’s been a big change from events, but there are a lot of transferable skills — especially around organisation and communication. I’m now working with technical teams on complex projects, and I’m really enjoying the challenge and opportunities for growth.
