Why did you start the traineeship?
I started the Traineeship after feeling burnt out in my social work career. I realised that I needed a change, and that’s when I found the Traineeship. It was very appealing to me as I was able to study whilst working full time. I felt this was the best way for me to explore the new career path that I was pursuing.
What did you enjoy most?
I enjoyed the format of the course, I was able to gain the knowledge I required in my own time. The information that was provided was very useful for self-directed study, and the was always someone to reach out to if needed.
What's your current role like?
My current role is very diverse, and no two days are the same. I work within a project management office, and the projects that we work on have a wide range, which will provide great experience for me. I work on short-term projects which I am able to apply the knowledge I gained through my Traineeship.
