Why did you start the traineeship?

I worked in the travel industry for 6 years, however my job was affected by COVID and I was put on furlough for 6 months. I was feeling stuck in my job in travel and decided to use the opportunity on furlough to pursue a career in IT.

What did you enjoy most?

I found it helpful that the Traineeship exposed me to numerous different courses. This helped me to gain a broad knowledge of different areas of IT.

What's your current role like?

I have managed to secure a role with a local MSP. I’m really enjoying it, everyday is a rewarding challenge. I am learning so many practical skills by dealing with customer queries across a huge range of applications and IT services.
