Why did you start the Cyber Security Traineeship?

I started the traineeship because I had an IT background but it was very generic and I wasn’t quite sure where to start. How to kick off my career and how to end up in cyber security eventually. IT Career switch has given me a pathway to follow and I now have a clear idea of where I want to go and more importantly how.

What did you enjoy most?

I enjoyed that it was quite challenging as there is a fair amount of material covered in the course. Which meant I was constantly learning and adding skills to my skill set which I have found has really helped me since I started work.

What's your current role like?

I am currently working as an ICT Technician, dealing with everyday problems for users. Every day is different one day I could be setting up new work laptops, to solve a random issue with a user’s pc. It’s really enjoyable.
