Why did you start the Cyber Security Traineeship?

I started the Traineeship to get knowledge and skills to change my present situation. I have been interested in IT and technology for many years. IT Career Switch gives me the opportunity to focus on demanding courses and certification paths to move forward. This Traineeship helped me a lot to categorise and manage the steps from being an IT Technician to a Cyber Security specialist.

What did you enjoy most?

While studying many topics, I enjoyed the practical labs the most. It puts me in real-life scenarios that an IT Technician must face and sort out. Also, preparing for passing the test was very interesting and challenging, where focus on details, time management were very crucial.

What's your current role like?

As an IT Field Engineer at Cerco Ltd, I deliver on-site support across multiple projects and contracts. This variety gives me contact with many companies where I improve my communication, customer service and technical skills. Also, choosing which project I want to participate in provides me more flexibility with managing my free time.
