Why did you start the traineeship?
I started the Traineeship as I wanted to begin a role in project management, due to the range of industries that are available within the field. As someone who was unsure on what route I wanted to go down for a career change, this appeared to be a good option.
What did you enjoy most?
The part of the course I most enjoyed is the practical projects, where I could apply the knowledge I had learnt so far in a real-life scenario. This prepared me well for my job interview for my new employer, where I was given a similar task.
What's your current role like?
My new job requires me to interact with multiple project teams, supporting them to achieve their goals. I am utilising the skills and understanding I developed around project management methodologies to do so, and there is a clear pathway to take on more responsibility in the future.
