Why did you start the traineeship?
I decided to start the Traineeship after struggling to transition into a new career. Coming from a background as a chef, I faced constant rejections despite sending out countless applications. The Traineeship gave me the structured path I needed to break into IT, and I haven’t looked back since.
What did you enjoy most?
What I enjoyed most was the hands-on projects and the incredible support during the recruitment phase. Barry, in particular, was fantastic — he helped me overcome my pre-interview nerves and boosted my confidence immensely. His guidance made a huge difference.
What's your current role like?
Now, in my current role, I’m thriving. I work with an amazing team at Ingelby in an agile environment, contributing to high-profile community websites for brands like Spotify and TalkTalk. It’s been an incredible journey, and I couldn’t have asked for a better outcome.
