Why did you start the IT Technician Traineeship?

I was looking for a new career, I had never really got on with computers but I did enjoy problem solving and learning new things which IT certainly covers. Also it is a step toward a better career in a growing industry.

What did you enjoy most?

I liked learning the content, there were a lot of simple tools I didn’t even know existed on any computer. I was able to learn at my own pace and could learn more about the topics whenever I wanted.

What's your current role like?

It is a steep learning curve to begin with and takes time to adjust to a new career. But I work in a company with people who are willing to take the time to show me real world things from the training and are happy to teach me anything I ask them.
