Why did you start the traineeship?

I wanted to change my career, and start in the IT industry. The IT Career Switch contents program sounded good to me and was easy to decide.

What did you enjoy most?

I enjoyed the fact that I have thousands of materials and resources available. My mentor Pierre was present when I needed and also Amber, from HR, was a wonderful support.

What's your current role like?

I’m working as a Help Desk Technician, at Littlefish. It is a great company, with a friendly team, and allows me to get the hands-on experience needed to thrive in the IT industry, hopefully with the same company. I’ve just started but I’m very excited as every day I learn new and different ways of troubleshooting. The human side of the equation is rewarding as it is possible almost to feel the gratitude of the users we support. That is great.
