Why did you start the Coding Traineeship?

I started IT Career Switch because I’ve always had an interesting in programming. However, I didn’t have any formal qualifications and I worked as a postman at the time so I didn’t have any relevant experience. This seemed like the most cost-efficient way of getting a start in software development while being able to work full-time.

What did you enjoy most?

The most enjoyable part of the course for me was building the projects. While I did enjoy studying, building a project from start to finish was very rewarding. Having to execute a solution to project specifications really helps build your skillset.

What's your current role like?

I work as a front-end engineer in my current role. Collaborate with the design and development team to transform UI/UX wireframes into visually appealing and responsive web interfaces using VueJS, Typescript and Tailwind.
