Why did you start the traineeship?

I’ve started the online Health and Safety Traineeship in February 2021, because I was trying to get my national certificate in NEBOSH, which supports my previous H&S experience and lets me rejoin the health and safety career in the UK.

What did you enjoy most?

Learning the risks and their controls is the backbone for the health and safety field, and all that I found in studying NEBOSH NGC. The IT career staff were very helpful and responded quickly to any query. They provided me with all resources and platforms in preparation for the NEBOSH exam and continued in support throughout the recruitment process.

What's your current role like?

I’ve joined one of the leading companies in the building materials retail industry. As HSE Advisor my role involves reviewing the health and safety performance of different branches, delivering HSE training programs to staff and supporting the employees on any health and safety issues.
