Why did you start the traineeship?
I started the Traineeship at the beginning of November 2024 because I wanted to build a solid foundation in IT and open the door to a new career path.
What did you enjoy most?
I really enjoyed the videos across the CompTIA courses, which explained everything clearly and step by step. On top of that, the lab environment was extremely valuable, as it gave me hands-on experience with real-world scenarios. It allowed me to get familiar with Windows 10, Windows 11, and Windows Server environments, which gave me the confidence to apply my knowledge in a professional setting.
What's your current role like?
I’m now working as an NHS Product Specialist with Microtech Group, providing 2nd/3rd line support. My role involves installing and supporting healthcare IT equipment for medical practices, ensuring everything runs smoothly for staff and patients. The skills I gained during the Traineeship have been directly relevant and helped me transition into this position with confidence.
