Why did you start the traineeship?

I was always drawn to IT and thought that would be cool to have a career in this field but never really had the chance to actually try to do it until COVID hit and lost my current job. That is when I came across IT Career Switch and decided to start their Coding traineeship.

What did you enjoy most?

In my opinion, the best part of the traineeship was working on the 2 real-world projects. My knowledge grew in an even faster phase and I was able to get actual coding experience. The projects turned out to be one of the major reasons I was hired for my first role.

What's your current role like?

I am currently working for Grand Visual as a Junior Back-End Developer using PHP. I was able to secure this position with the help of my personal recruitment specialist within one month after completing the traineeship. I love it so far it’s a great company to work for and my colleagues are awesome. I definitely recommend IT Career Switch to anyone who is looking to change careers and wants to get into IT.
